Dolores Jean “Dee” (Berg) Lezotte, 78, of Janesville, died on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Janesville on December 29,1933, the daughter of Frank and Elva (Burdick) Berg. She graduated from Janesville High School in 1952. Dolores married Donald Lezotte at First Christian Church, Janesville on July 7, 1956 and had been a Janesville resident all of her life. She had been employed by the Janesville School System for 37 years. She was a member of First Christian Church. Dolores was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother whose family was her life.
Dolores is survived by her husband, Donald Lezotte, four children, Terri (Mike) Meyer of Edgerton, Michael (Bobbi) Lezotte of Evansville, Debra Bothun of Janesville, Gina Kavanaugh of Janesville, nine grandchildren: Justin Meyer and Christopher Meyer, Chelsea Lezotte and Rachel Lezotte, Mitchell Bothun, Jessica Bothun and Michael Bothun, Alexis Hilden and Stephanie Hilden; great-grandchildren Ashlynn Bothun, Adalynn Carlson and one more expected in April, Kade Hilden, one brother, Robert ( Joyce ) Berg of Onalaska, WI, sister-in-law, Delores Leeder of Evansville, numerous nieces and nephews and a very special friend Sue Buscemi.
Private family services were held. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in Dolores’ name to Agrace HospiceCare Inc. or Alzheimer’s Support Center Janesville. Henke-Clarson Funeral Home is assisting the family. www.henkeclarson.com.
